In an interview with Curly Tails, the actor shared that her village lies near the India-Nepal border and admitted that he hadn’t even heard of the place before meeting her.
Their love story began after marriage
When asked about their love story, the couple revealed that they got married first — and love followed later. Sanjay shared that it was an arranged marriage, adding that after his father’s passing, his mother wanted him to settle down and start a family. Reflecting on their relationship, the actor said meeting Kiran was his kismat (destiny) and that he was meant to find her in the mountains. As per reports, Sanjay and Kiran tied the knot in 2009.
